The Company
EagleView, a company that provides property insights for smarter planning, building and efficiency. We were working in a team of 5 where I was responsible for the UX Research and usability testing.
The problems...
The client and we got in touch over several zoom calls to understand their requirements
Requirements -
1. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the checkout process
2. To identify any usability issues that the users may face while completing the
checkout process
3. To gather feedback from the users on their experience with the checkout process
4. To assess the overall user satisfaction with the checkout flow
What did we do?
Usability testing!
Participants
Property owners, Civil Engineers Age - 18 to 50 years old No. of participants - 5
How did we plan to conduct the test?
1. First, we set up a study schedule that included the tasks and the time required to complete those tasks
2. Sketch out the task description
3. Success criteria
4. Data collection and analysis

Study schedule
1. Initial set up - Setting up the software for tracking user interactions
2. Introduction and consent permission - Participants' consent will taken by asking them to fill out the consent form.
3. Tasks will be given to each participant - This will be measured on the basis of the success criteria of each task
4. Post-session interview - Participants will be asked a few questions to get their thoughts and opinions on Eagleview's report checkout flow.
5. The moderator will thank participants for taking part in this study and they will be compensated with gift cards.
Data collection and analysis
During the Usability test, we used a combination of observation and think-aloud protocols to gather data on participants’ behaviors and thoughts. The sessions will be recorded with a video camera with the participants’ consent. A note-taker will be present to take notes on participants’ behavior and comments.

After completing the usability test, the data collected will be analyzed to identify the issues and suggest improvements. The quantitative and qualitative data will be analyzed to understand the metrics such as -
